Jazlyn Rodriguez v. TZ INSURANCE SOLUTIONS, LLC d/b/a TRANZACT and WILLIS TOWERS WATSON U.S., LLC
A settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit claiming the above-named Defendants failed to provide compliant FCRA disclosures and notices and copies of background check reports before taking adverse employment action based on the background check reports. In summary, Plaintiff alleges that Defendant failed to provide her and other class members with notice and copies of their consumer reports as required by the FCRA. Defendant denies that it violated any law or regulation but has agreed to the settlement to avoid the uncertainties and expenses of continuing the case. The total Settlement Fund will be in the sum of $296,400.00. If you received a notice, you have been identified as one of the 737 Class Members.
To receive payment, you MUST either submit your claim online at the Online Claim Submission page by July 18, 2023, or mail/email your postcard claim POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN July 18, 2023. (Do not submit both online claim and by mail.)
